School captains & councillors

St Mary’s offers formal leadership opportunities to every Year 6 student.  The school has two School Captains and two Vice Captains.  There are also Sports Captains for the three colour houses and Councillors for:

• Information Technology and
• Missions.

All captains and councillors are given training and support to grow in their roles.  For example, school captains and vice captains currently attend Young Leader’s Day and students in Year 5 and Year 6 attend Inter Relate personal development courses in Term 1.
